Biodiversity in the Community

Biodiversity is important to everyone, not just official bodies with a specialist biodiversity role. This is reflected by the number of community groups that exist to care for and enhance their local area. The South Lanarkshire Environment Network provides a forum for these groups to meet to discuss projects and share experience, as well as receive training and support from agencies such as South Lanarkshire Council.
